What is NAJLA?
The Northern Arizona Junior Livestock Association, Inc. (NAJLA) is a not-for-profit, community volunteer-based service organization founded in 2009, which strives to make a difference in the lives of youth involved in the selling of livestock projects. The Purpose of NAJLA is to sponsor and produce a quality auction for the benefit of 4-H/FFA junior livestock exhibitors in Northern Arizona. Furthermore, the purpose is, through active participation of the NAJLA program, to achieve a successful, well-attended auction that will reward the 4-H/FFA junior livestock exhibitors for their accomplishments and hard efforts.

Purpose of the Auction
The purchase of an auction animal provides a two-fold benefit to encourage junior exhibitors. The immediate benefit is to motivate 4-H exhibitors to learn and excel in the business of raising and fitting their animals. Proceeds from the sale of projects often fund college educations, enhancing the ability of these youth to contribute to their communities.
As a buyer, your participation in the sale recognizes youth for the time, expense and effort that has gone into raising an animal for market. When you purchase a market animal from a Junior Livestock exhibitor, you’re buying home-grown, high-quality, and flavorful meat.
Your support of the Junior Livestock Auction also benefits the NAJLA Scholarship Program, which aids students in pursuing their undergraduate degree.
Please support the Junior Livestock Auction and invest in the youth of Coconino County 4-H.
